Shop e30 build breakdown plus ongoing updates. 1987 bmw 325i coupe chassis, originally swapped and "ruined" so it just made sense to swap it again with something a bit more my style and clean up the car all together along the way. all that was kept from the original build were the BC Coilovers and garagistic adjustable rear subframe. originally VH45 with a 300zx trans. had problems with the spacing of the starter due to the bellhousing modifications to fit the manual to the vh. wiring was also dodgy, old bmw and a cut up infinity harness in the glovebox definitely wasn't staying. was a fun doughnut machine the couple times i was able to get it going. a few weeks later. -3sge beams and j160 (sxe10) -xcessive engine and transmission mounts -xcessive driveshaft -2.9 ratio e30 diff. first thing i wanted to change once we got the beams going -classic car wiring kit. For basic accesories(headlights, horn, windows, tailights. -3sge wiring harness and ecu for altezza sxe10

At osw, you need to make sure that outside of being in working order(no leaks, runs decent, etc) you have: -all your lugs. factory wheels factory lugs. Aftermarket wheels, aftermarket lugs. -fire extinguisher -factory seats with factory seat belt. -aftermarket seats, harness and harness bar -battery tie down and covered positive terminal. -snell rated helmet 5 years old or newer. -no windshield is better than a cracked windshield. -cooler with water, lawn chair and a hat.
